Treatment Options

Naturopathic Medicine

Dr. Corey adheres to the 5 Principals of Naturopathic Medicine:

  • First, do no harm: use treatments that have low side effects.
  • Prevention: work with the patient to prevent future health conditions.
  • Supporting the body’s own ability to heal: help remove blocks to healing.
  • Treat the whole person: understand the patient and provide an individualized plan that includes physical, emotional, environmental and spiritual aspects.
  • Docere (teaching): provide knowledge to the patient in order to help them feel empowered to take responsibility for their health.

All lab work will be sent to Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp. We do not do in-office specimen collections.

Please note our office does not order or interpret specialty labs (Dutch, USBiotek, Genova etc…)

Trans and Gender-Affirming Healthcare

Dr. Corey provides gender-affirming hormone therapy, surgical letters/referrals and general wellness support for all transgender and gender diverse patients.  We will help you on your journey to comfortably express your true self. We provide a warm and welcoming environment for everyone.

Dr. Corey does not provide PAPs and in office STI screening at this time (We can order STI labs with blood/ urine sample collection at Labcorp or Quest).

All patients initiating and continuing hormone therapy must agree to and adhere to regular visits and regular lab work to best optimize your hormonal transition.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

Dr. Corey also uses CST as a modality for healing. CST is a gentle form of physical therapy that encourages optimal circulation of the cerebral spinal fluid. CST is helpful for migraines, anxiety, depression, stress and many other health concerns. Call text or email to schedule a CST session.

Please note before establishing care and reminder to established patients:

Transformative Healthcare does not provide emergency after-hours services. Our clinic is not equipped to handle any after-hour emergency services. Therefore, we do not have an after-hours on-call physician. If you feel you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or visit the closest urgent care or ER. If you are unsure if you are experiencing a medical emergency, please contact the nurses’ hotline that is provided through your insurance company.

If you have a non-urgent medical request, please send us a message through the patient portal, and we will respond to your message within 48 business hours upon returning to the office.

We have limited capacity for acute health concerns. If we do not have availability for your acute concern, we will direct you to be seen at urgent care or ER.

We cannot prescribe new medications over messaging. Appointments are required for all new medications.

Payment and Insurance Information

Transformative Healthcare is in network with:

  • Regence
  • Aetna
  • Uniform
  • Premera
  • Lifewise*
  • First Choice
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (when billed through Regence/Premera)
  • Anthem (when billed through Regence/Premera)
  • Please note some Group Health, Kaiser PPO, Kaiser Choice, and United plans bill through First Choice. If you have one of these plans, please contact our front desk to confirm before booking (via text, email or phone). We are not in network with Kaiser HMO or Kaiser Core plans (their system has outdated information that we are in network).

* For Lifewise, we are not in network with the smaller network plans such as “Alpine”. Please double-check your plan if you have Lifewise.

We are only able to offer services to legal residents of Washington state. Not all insurance companies cover visits for naturopathic physicians or telehealth. We suggest that you contact your insurance to verify your coverage. This is especially important if you have an out-of-state plan, as some states do not license naturopathic doctors.

If you wish to bill insurance, all valid insurance IDs/information must be submitted to us 48 hours before your scheduled visit to verify we are credentialed with your carrier.

Our office does not verify insurance benefits beforehand. That is the responsibility of the patient to know their plan benefits.

For out-of-network plans or patients that do not have insurance:

If your insurance is not in network with us, or you do not have insurance, we provide a 30% cash rate discount. Payment is expected at the time of service. We can also provide you with a super bill that can be submitted to your insurance company for you to be reimbursed at the out network rate.

Our cash rates (not billing insurance) including the 30% discount:

  • First visit: $231-$268.80
  • Return Visit: $134.40-$184.80
  • Craniosacral Session (50 minutes): $125

For patients with AppleCare or other Medicaid plans, a discounted sliding-scale fee can be applied for gender-affirming care services (transgender healthcare). Please inquire with front desk while booking for the sliding scale rates (via text, email, or phone). For other services with AppleCare/Medicaid plans, please see the out-of-network cash fees listed above.

Please note that effective April 1, 2026, Medicaid plans will no longer cover prescriptions written by providers who are not enrolled as Medicaid providers.

Tips for Navigating Insurance:

Before scheduling, it’s a good idea to check the following with your insurance company so that you are not subjected to any unexpected charges:

1. Does your insurance company cover naturopathic doctor visits?

2. What is your yearly deductible?

3. What is your copay fee per naturopathic visit?

4. Do you have any out-of-network benefits?

5. Does your plan cover telehealth visits?
